I didn’t get a chance to do a post last week, but I am making time for it today for sure.

I am definitely getting back on track with the exercise. I may not be doing something every day, but pretty close. I got back into the strength training last week and that felt really fantastic. I’d say water is a semi-success. I am doing better again but not quite getting what I should every single day.

Well the water is that semi-struggle. Getting exercise on the weekends is definitely a struggle. Eating is still so-so. I’m making general improvements but I definitely need to do better. Our budget has been a problem with eating right.

I think I lost a pound or two, but I will go to the gym tomorrow and weigh in to know for sure. This is loss after gaining 5 pounds overall, so it’s hard to really call it a loss, but at least I am heading back in the right direction.

I’ve had some stress and drama. As of yesterday I can confidently say that some of the stress and drama has been eliminated from my life. It wasn’t an easy decision but it will be healthier for my entire family.

Congrats to Janice, Sista of the Week. She’s definitely very deserving! Way to go!! Thanks for all your support!

  1. I’m glad that you’ve been able to reduce some of the stress in your life. As hard as it can be, if it’s for the best, then that’s what you need to do. One day at a time, one goal at a time. I hope you have a great week!

  2. Ridding your life of drama OR dramatic people will do you good. You don’t need that. I’ve had to make those tough decisions before and in the long run, you are so much better off! XXOO

  3. A loss is a loss. Don’t look back only forward. Glad to hear you made a decision that will keep you moving in the right direction.

  4. I also had a 5 pound gain and a 3 pound loss. Hey, it’s not a gain. It’s a loss! Sounds like you got a “toxic” person out of your life. Good for you.

  5. A loss is a loss. Good job. Drink your H2O, there is no financial excuse there. I will hit you up in chat re: the drama. Hope you are well.

You’re right, absolutely no financial excuse on water. I will continue to do better. Look forward to our chat.

Yep! Moving forward is exactly what I decided to do. And you know I looked at the big picture. Sure I gained back 5 pounds but I’m still at a 25 pound total loss and that’s nothing to be sad about. Moving forward and going back in the right direction. I don’t want pity, no woe is me. I accept responsibility, I have a smile on my face, and I AM DOING THIS!!!

I had a 30 pound loss and a 5 pound gain. I can be happy that I still have a 25 pound loss!! We will re-lose our 5 pounds together. :) As a matter of fact, it’s 3 toxic people. A family.

  11. Way to go with the weight loss! Have you done measurements lately? Maybe that would help? I’m going to do measurements tonight, because I think I will find more evidence there of my hard work than the scale. UGH the scale. LOL

I’m glad that you got some drama stress out of your life – that kind so stinks! Good luck this week, and I hope to see you next week (right? 2nd and 4th? LOL I might remember eventually…)

  12. Good for you! Getting rid of the drama is going to be so healthy for you. Get your groove back in baby steps. You’re doing a good job. Good luck this coming week.

  13. you will get back to normal soon and till you do just keep doing your very best, I know you can it and will be succeeding soon

    motivation treat

  14. I’ve been struggling with water too – so I know what you’re going through. As soon as things get back to normal it might help.

Have a great week – stress and drama free!
